New Design Studio and Art Studio

I know I've been MIA for a few months, but now you know why! We were busy building, painting, laying flooring, assembling furniture, etc...for our new Jack and Jill Interiors design and art studio!
While it's still not complete, we have come a long way.
We have yet to fit out the storage rooms in the back, set up the snack bar area as well as my husband's office "armoire" in the corner near the entrance to his production facility.
My portion of the new building is 800 square feet. The other 2/3 of the building houses the Crystal Imagery production facility (aka: Hubby's company). If you haven't checked out his website, you're really missing out. He hand-carves custom wine glasses, whiskey glasses and  logo barware for the sophisticated man or woman with discriminating taste. His products really rock and make the perfect wedding gift, birthday gift, retirement or anniversary gift for anyone special in your life.
My husband, Eric Schuchart, needs a quiet place to take phone calls and conduct business away from production activities, so I'm giving him a nook in my studio. (I've made him think I'm really sacrificing here to share my space with him, but in reality, I will enjoy looking at him several times during the day while he works! I think he's quite handsome. )
I'll have better quality images in the coming months, but here is a sneak peek at the space as it's coming together.

Smiles,
Sherri
Art gallery wall featuring a few of my own nursery wall art and kids' art designs now licensed by Oopsy Daisy Art. (Contact me to purchase.)

Some of my favorite nurseries are framed in Poppy Tree Frames (my all time favorite frame collection!) behind my desk. Contact me if you'd like help selecting special frames for your nursery.)
Coffee station and snack bar. Still in the works...

Another angle...lots of windows and natural lighting. The 11' high ceilings really make a difference, too.

Jubilee Chandeliers and wall sconces.

Coats, boots and hats area. My friend, Heather Davulcu's artwork hangs on the wall and reminds us to SLOW DOWN and enjoy life!

Gibout Toys soft blocks are really great for toddlers and make fantastic decor in the nursery as well. I also love Painted Ponies (Nancy Edwards) and their hand painted step stools and stick horses. Nancy is extremely gifted and will make custom designs for you!

Ribbon station and some aprons for painting days.

Close up of the work bench...where it all happens!
